Hey there!!! So much has happened since the last time I wrote. I believe a year had gone by. How time flys. I'm gonna keep my blog open. Maybe I'll feel compelled to keep it updated one day... Until then Godspeed!

I just realized that I have only written 5 post for the year and it's OCTOBER!!!!

A busted laptop screen can surely make a person who doesn't really blog that much to begin with, Not blog at all!!!!!

And we are BACK!!!!!!!

O! M! G! My seeing eye is back... that's right! I fixed my laptop screen finally!!! I'm am sooo happy about it! Here is some before shots:

This was back in 2010... the crack had been there for almost a year. It happened in December of 2009.  By now I was like okay I can deal. 

So the screen just got worst.  to the point I couldn't see anywhere well on the screen at all.  So I sent out for a new screen finally... (btw, I was going to send it to this apple repair shop I found in Manhattan.  They were gonna charge me 350 for a new screen. This included parts and labor. )  I opted out of doing that and found great place to get my screen thanks to my Eagle Brother Derek LaBoo!!!!  So I bought the screen thinking it was the right one... It was for a mac but wrong style.... below is my laptop in pieces before I realized.... WRONG SCREEN. 

 So I put it back to together and now the little bit of screen I was getting was completely GONE!!!!  PITCH BLACK!!!!  So now the only way to use my laptop was through my tv!! ANNOYING to say the least.  Well I sent back the incorrect screen to get the correct one and they sent back the SAME screen again!!! PISSED!!!

After a few words with them (not that many really because they realized their mistake) I sent back the wrong screen, they sent me the RIGHT one.. and I got to work...

I am so proud to say, I can SEE MY SCREEN!!!!  LOOK!!!

What a job!!!  and I  only spent $133 and about 10 hours TOTAL from both times having to take it apart and put it back together again!   Well I am done!!!  I can see... I can get stuff done! I'm HAPPY!!!!  

Next time I will speak on my decision about my PHONE!!!!  :)

PHONE FRENZY!

So if you don't know, I am gadget, technological GEEK!!!!

I know how to hook up just about any TV, to any stereo, to a computer (which I am using now), to a phone, to a printer, to a... well you get the point. People tell other people they know to call me because I know how to do it.

Working at Radio Shack provides an outlet to the this side of my heart for technology.

Well the other day, I found out because I work there, how much I could save each month by switching to Sprint.

Disclaimer: I have never been, nor will I ever be tied to life to one cell phone provider. It is POINTLESS. They all have their strengths and weaknesses.  The only thing I care about is who can provide me with what I need for the price I'm willing to pay. T-mobile was winning until they left Radio Shack. Now Sprint is crushing the game.

I have the new Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch... 
that is just too much for one phone.   I have not turned it on yet because I'm waiting for my number to port over. HOWEVER, it's a sick phone. I know this already. I'm going to LOVE THE SCREEN. I'm all about visuals so that is a plus.

NOW, the iPhone 5 is reportedly coming out this month, rumored Oct. 14. If it does... I will return this phone and get the iPhone 5. I really want it. BUT only if I can afford it. I don't mind waiting cause I know this Galaxy S2 is about to be great to my life.

This is gonna be a tough one!!!

I previously would have NEVER gotten an iPhone but with the recent changes to it's operating system and better functionality overall... I'm DOWN!!! I love my iPod touch and at times, I wish it was my phone. I almost got the 4 but the 5 is on it's way.

WELL FOLKS... I'm not sure how this will end. I tend to change my phone very often. I try to keep up with the times and myself!!! LOL  I would have all kinds of phones just to play with them and change them like I change my clothes. With AT&T and T-mobile, very easy... SIM cards are the best.
BUT... Sprint got it going on for my pocket. So CDMA it is!!!!

Missing the seeing eye!

I am missing the seeing eye.  The one that allows me to see into the World Wide Wonders. It was cracked two years ago, 2009.  At first, it was just cracked... I could see EVERYTHING. Not a problem. Then.... the crack grew... and the blood came. But I could still SEE. Move a few things around and all was well.

But then, it became unbearable.  I did nothing about it. I just let it get worse and worse.  Everyone thought it was a design, or a screen saver. A closer look would prove otherwise. I tried and tried to deal. Even the life source was no longer lasting. But I keep pushing until, I couldn't do it anymore...

SO I decided to fix it. And the seeing eye came but when I went to put it in, wrong style. Everything else about it was perfect, but if you can't put it in, it's nothing but.  I had to put the old seeing eye back in... and now... it is completely useless. BLANK and BLACK but STILL LIGHT. THE LIGHT is still SHINNING.

I sent back the new seeing eye to get the RIGHT one and now I wait for the day that green paper will emerge to help me proclaim my seeing eye. I have to wait because I couldn't and still can't fix the green paper issue.  So until then... I have to use the non portable seeing eye.

This message doubles as the seeing eye of my spirit... right now, mine feels broken and cracked. Unable to heal. I tried to fix it and made things worse for myself. So now I stay broken, bleeding and busted. When people see me, they see that awesome cool screen saver until they get the opportunity to take a closer look. They might realize how broken I am.  Or maybe not. I don't put on a show... I just try to stay positive and do what my screen continues to do.. SHINE. It's so HARD... Jesus... it's tough.

So I'm so excited for people around me that are in love and marrying their best friends!!!  That's the way it should be going down.  That relationship can last the test of times. Think about it.... a person you wanna share all your insecurities with, your faults and foes, go through ups and downs, be stronger with, learn yourself as they learn themselves... I think it is a gift from God.

I'm writing this to express my happiness but at the same time my sadness because that is what I desire. I have many male friends... some I consider my besties but not that ONE at least that I can see.

I don't sit in that long because I remain FAITHFUL! Who knows what tomorrow brings but I know that God is doing what he does best, so I have to follow him.

Next year I celebrate my 30th bday (the new 20)!!!! I'm so EXCITED... I will have my business up and running, completing many projects and just dancing my life away.  YAY!!!

At the end of the day... my feelings are fleeting but God is forever strong.  He helps me keep my peace, my joy and my passion for life with a purpose. I hope if you are reading this, that you found some words to keep you encouraged and always feel free to leave kinds words of motivation.

So much has gone on since my last post.

Oct - Nov of 2010: Sitting in this big ol apartment looking for work.

Nov-Dec of 2010:  I got hired by Radio Shack.  I love my job... still nothing on the dance front.

Dec 2010 - Jan 2011:  HAPPY NEW YEAR! and to new jobs.

Okay... that's all for now!!!  New year has a lot to bring...
